Job Description

Summary

Fully responsible for equipment installation, start-up, sustain, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

· Directly involved in new equipment design, user requirement specification (URS), procurement, fabrication (include delivery management) installation, and qualification.

· Prepare and maintain documentation, control plan, risk analysis, troubleshooting guidelines and other ISO related documentation.

· Provide guidance, training and coaching to technicians on machine monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement projects.

· Responsible for machine up time and readiness for production.

· Liaise with the manufacturing department and ensure scheduled preventive maintenance is performed within the set time frame.

· Ensure adequate spare part inventory to support production and prepare monthly spare part purchase plan.

· Involved in engineering projects such as cost reduction, OEE improvement, second source qualification, yield improvement and new line/equipment start up.

· Review equipment’s data log/alarm, errors and SPC chart to ensure equipment is always in control and develop necessary PM procedures, OCAPs and checklist. Ensure 5S, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety & health protocols compliances.

· Other tasks are assigned by superior time to time.

Requirements

1. Education level: Degree in Engineering. Preferably Mechanical/Mechatronic, Electrical & Electronics, Chemical Engineering.

2. Year of Experience: Entry Level (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)

3. Capability: Familiar with wet/chemical process.

4. Skills: Knowledge in PLC troubleshooting skills, 8D problem solving, FMEA, DMAIC

5. Language: English and Malay are must, Japanese will be an added advantage.
