Job Description

Summary

Responsible to carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment to ensure the operational efficiency of lens manufacturing lines.

Job Responsibilities

· Provide line support for equipment setup, recovery & corrective maintenance to meet KPIs defined in respective functional area.

· Perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) and complete documentation as required (e-checklist).

· Perform service of parts, assemblies and swap kits.

· Tracks spare parts & consumables usage to ensure availability for production usage.

· Assist Engineer on equipment installation, product-system qualification, equipment troubleshooting & projects in any area of overall equipment efficiency (OEE) improvements.

· Work as a team member of an integrated team to maximize tool availability and process yield.

· Ensure 5S, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety & health protocols compliances.

· Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Qualifications

1. Education level: Diploma in Engineering or Certificate in Engineering with minimum 3 years working experience. Preferably Mechanical/Mechatronic, Electrical & Electronics candidates.

2. Year of Experience: Minimum 1 year of working experience in related fields. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

3. Capability: Well versed in analytical, problem solving and good communication skills. The ability to learn fast and to be able to work within a team.

4. Skills: Proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel application.

5. Language: English & Malay is a must; Japanese will be an added advantage.
